The main reason I like them is you don’t really need a website to promote their offers. You can use what is called direct linking! I really love direct linking. All you have to do is write an article, post it to places like Squidoo with a link referring them to your advertisers landing page. If you’re going to use this technique, it is imperative that you create a powerful article that describes the offer and how they can receive the offer. I won’t lie. This type of marketing is competitive! However you will just need to tap into some free traffic sources to continually drive targeted traffic to your offers! Here is the thing, if you want to make real money online, and I’m not talking about a few hundred dollars a day, I’m talking about $4,000 – $10,000 a day. Now if you all keep using the same, old, over used traffic methods like adwords, yahoo, facebook etc.. then you will not get that very far. The way the big boys make a boat load of money online is by having a whole list of traffic sources that they found themselves. When a marketer has his own traffic sources, the potential to expend and increase your earnings is 1000 times better then using over used traffic sources like Adwords, yahoo, facebook and so on.
If your thinking what good are having traffic sources then think again. You can promote hundreds of different things. Promoting clickbank products is one of the things you can promote. Also a huge amount of internet marketers are promoting CPA offers (cost per action). Those two, clickbank and cpa is where the money’s at. I have been talking to many full time marketers and each one of them says the more traffic sources you have, then the more money you will make because you are targeting more people that haven’t seen your advertisement or product yet and will be a high chance of getting a sale or a lead.
The way to find these so called traffic sources is by using Google lol. You may also find a ton of great traffic sources by reading Internet marketing forums like blackhatworld, DP, WF and etc.. and doing tons of research!! It will all payout in the end though. Can you just imagine yourself making a few thousands a day? And you can have anything you want, a Lambo, ferrari… ANYTHING!!!
But if you are only a newbie/ beginner then i would suggest not finding extra traffic sources until you master the ones that you already know facebook, google adwords, ppc, ppv. Once you master those traffic sources and find profitable campaigns then thats when you are suppose to use your extra traffic sources. But be warned that if you have little to no experience at all then be prepared to lose a shit load of money. If you are not prepared to lose money then do not even bother with affiliate marketing yet, because I have lost thousands of dollars on finding and promoting campaigns and losing a few thousands of dollars is not even considered a lot.
You might also want to get in touch with a few other internet markets around and ask them a few questions that you may have. Also if you are with a cpa network you’ll get an affiliate manager, and affiliate managers are a big help if you ask them questions because they usually know more then affiliate marketers themselves. So don’t be shy and ask questions after questions, otherwise you are not going to get far.

Alright so i have just started promoting dating offers on facebook. All I can tell you that it is a lot of work. You need to do lots of campaign testing to find your winner. Just launched my campaign on facebook a few hours ago and already getting clicks. I have gotten 1 conversion rate which is getting my pretty excited now lol, So far so good.
Here are a few things I’ am doing. I’ am using CPC and NOT CPM, the reason for this is I’ am just starting using facebook ad platform and I want to have more control. Once I see that I will have a good ctr I might switch on over to CPM platform so I can get cheaper traffic. Also I’ am using a landing page so it will increase the conversion rates and send better quality traffic to the advertiser. But you can direct link the offer as well, just make sure the advertiser allows direct linking straight to the offer because some don’t.
Also every affiliate network is different, so ask your affiliate manager what is the top converting offer for the dating niche or the niche you are going to advertise facebook etc.. Your affiliate manager should be able to tell you and give you a few suggestions. Another very important thing before promoting any kind of offer, you must know your audience. What I mean but that, is that you should know who to target, female, male, ethnicity, religion, age and so on. Knowing your audience will help you 110% in getting a higher conversion rate.
