Have you ever landed on someone’s else’s website and seen a donation button? You might have anyways it is another awesome way to get some money. One website that excepts donations is wiki and they made over 1 million dollars in donations in a short period of time. If you have a site or a blog then you can place a donation button.
Excepting donations to your website is completely legal, what you don’t want to do is lie were the money will be going to. You can say that the donations will be going toward paying for the website servers and to improve your website or what not. If you have a real legit website with visitors coming in everyday then you will get donations.
Now you need an account or an online payment cart to accept the donations. There are many of these services available but my most favorite are PayPal and Google Checkout. I would prefer Google Checkout over PayPal because it is much more simpler then PayPal. When you have signed up with one of the merchant accounts you will be able to create your donation button to place on your site and your ready to go.
